Hello lovely! I was thinking about trying out woodcutting and I suddenly remembered that this is your domain. Basically I've been trying to find where is the best place to get materials, and the cheapest, as I'm a complete beginner. What would you recommend? Hello Olly, I've worked out how to put my email in my profile now - thanks for letting me know! Great Art has good value materials - paper, lino, ply and I think wood blocks. For cutting tools I would recommend getting one or two better quality tools rather than lots of cheap ones. And rollers can make all the difference so don't scrimp there either. For tools, rollers, ink & paper I use www.intaglioprintmaker.com. Oh and a teflon furniture glide makes an excellent baren for rubbing over the back of your print on the ink - better than a spoon. HTH - i love your creations.
