Art Market aftermath

Phew! After a frantic few weeks of mounting and framing, pricing and packaging in preparation for the Art Market, i am kicking back a bit and looking forward to some printing. I had a good day with lots of lovely conversations about nature, landscape and technique with a reasonable dollop of sales. I was really heartened that several were to repeat customers who had bought from me at last November's Art Market. My only regret was not having enough time to visit all the other stalls, my "helpers" when they arrived were dripping wet from their bike ride to Penistone and frankly i didn't trust these two drowned rats with my precious stall.

  1. Your stall looks great - it is a lot of hard work, isn't it!

I know that feeling - I only took two photos at the Makers' Market on Saturday and there was at least one stall I didn't really look at at all, let alone chat to the stallholder.

Pleased you had some good sales - and isn't it nice when people return for more!

  2. your stall looks great! your prints really stand out :)

  3. Love the new header - I recognise that bird! Your stand looks brilliant and delighted you had a good day.

  4. Glad the market went well, your stall looks lovely. It's hard work but fun meeting people. I bet you were really tired by the end of the day.

  5. What a lovely stall. It is hard to know what the protocol is regarding taking photos of other people's stalls. I am new to this so I am a bit nervous of offending anyone! Silly really.
Love the Betty's hen video too!

  6. Stall looks fab Alison, wish I could have come to see you! Applying for the November Market, fingers crossed I get in!
Degree over now some I'm free ;o)
